I have 422 friends, yet I am lonely. I speak to all of them everyday, yet none of them really know me. The problem I have sits in the spaces between, looking into their eyes, or at a name on a screen. I took a step back, and opened my eyes, I looked around, and then realised that this media we call social, is anything but when we open our computers, and it’s our doors we shut. ¿Recordáis los libros de los que hablé hace unos d í as? “ Retrum ” y “ Generación Dead ” , s í . Bueno, ya hace tiempo que me los le í , y ya me terminé la segunda parte de “ GD ” ; ayer comencé “ Retrum 2 ” . Estoy bastante enganchado a ambos libros. Retrum tiene ese misterio y suspense que te deja pegado a cada página, y que no sabes qué te espera al pasar la página. Generación Dead brilla por su humor, su ligereza de acciones (y no te pegas tres horas para saber que el protagonista ha bostezado, como ocurre en “ Alas Negras ” y “ Alas de Fuego ” , de Laura Gallego , por ejemplo; libro que aún no he sido capaz de terminar por lo mismo), y por su trama bien centrada, no hay momento del libro que te aburra porque la trama se haga pesada ni nada por el estilo. La comparan con la saga de Crepúsculo por cosas que ya comenté en la entrada anterior, pero sin duda ésta le pega cinco mil vueltas a los brillantes vampiros y licántropos con sobredosis de esteroides. Esta vez me toca hablar de alguien muy diferente a Lady GaGa, P!nk, Adele, etc. Voy a hablar de Evanescence , un grupo seguramente conocido por mis lectores. Se me ha ocurrido hablar de este grupo tras escuchar su nuevo CD, que saldrá el 11 de Octubre, cuyo título es el mismo que el del grupo. Se caracteriza por ser un grupo de estilo rock gótico o rock sinfónico, contando con la vocalista y arpista Amy Lee , que tiene una pedazo de voz. Pues bien, según pienso, este disco es muy diferente a sus anteriores, y por ahora me están gustando todas sus canciones, en especial What You Want ( donde podéis escucharla aquí:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BZvYEdxXC8&ob=av2n  ) Creo que solo cabe señalar que conocí Evanescence a través de la canción  Bring Me To Life ( espero no ser el único jaja), y también pude disfrutar de temas como Litihum, Lacrymosa, Snow White Queen, Haunted, Call Me When You're Sober , y muchas otras más. "Estamos encantados de dar la bienvenida a nuestra nueva, hermosa, saludable y feliz bebita, Willow Sage Hart. Cada vez falta menos para el Salón Manga de Jerez , y quedé( en teoría) con Furia para hacernos un cosplay FÁCIL para tal fecha, a unas dos semanas, pero es que no encuentro nada que sea fácil, me desespero D: Además, estoy "apuntado" a un grupo de Vocaloid, y a mí me corresponde ser Kamui Gakupo ( para quien no le conozca, aquí unas fotos) Ahora bien, tengo la foto del cosplay, para saber al menos cómo me tiene que quedar y tal, pero no encuentro ningún tutorial para hacerlo, así que también me desespero T_T Si alguien puede ayudarme con éste y con el otro para Jerez, se lo agradecería jaja. El sábado estuve en el Otacón de Tomares. Estuvo bastante bien, además de que ése fue el primero al que fui, el año pasado. Quizás si hubiera ido cosplayeado me lo hubiera pasado mejor, pero dentro de lo que cabe está bien. Lo mejor fue cuando a eso de las 5 fuimos al concurso de cosplay, y hubo varios que me hicieron gracia y algunos cosplays estaban muy bien, pero este baile me ha encantado jaja.
